in my room she'll get to you

I found the top picture recently (on weheartit) and was inspired by the idea, so decided to do my own photo collage on my wall using various photos from the internet that I liked and polaroids from Paris. I really like it, I like adding things to my room that make it like kind of personalised lol.
But anyway, whilst I was there I decided to take some more pictures of my room, they're not very good as my rooms so small and baring in mind all I have is a rubbishy cheap digital camera (dslr on christmas list?;D)

Zara Wish list

Woahhhhhh, long list aha!
I really lovelovelove Zara, so here's my wish list. Zara clothes can be so basic and yet I can still find so many things from there that I fall madly in love with. I especially love the midi black skirt, which I think would look perfect on a Zooey Deschanel type (which i am not, bad times)
Unfortunately, Zara sizing always comes up really weird on me so it's hard to find much really and most of these items look gorgeous on the models but would look utter shit on me. ( :( )  I've wanted a pair of chino/peg leg type trousers in ages but alas, god hates me and insists that no matter what, they will always look rubbish on me, blah.
But anyway, I think i start working on Saturday which means money! Which means I will probably spend half my time scouring the Internet for things, good times!
That's all, byeee xxxx

Alexa Chung at Mulberry

I know its so so cliche but I don't care because I like her

Erdem Spring 2011

photos from style.com

I always love the Erdem collections (the innocence, the floral patterns etcetc) , and spring 2011 was no exception. I like how the see through lace and the floor sweeper with its thigh high slit make this collection sweet yet sexy.
The lace, the collars, the floral patterns, perfect.

Paris, Je'Taime

In the holidays I went to Paris with my mom (not the greatest place to go with your mom but still) for about four days. It was really lovely, but it all looked much better at night aha. It kind of surprised me when I was there as it wasn't what I was expecting, I was expecting model-like girls with gorgeous clothes and beautiful Parisian boys, my expectations were probably a little too high. The city as a whole though was beautiful and had plenty of Zara's which I have fallen in love with recently aha. I don't have many photos because I took mine on disposable and polaroid so they need to be developed yet but yeah, if you've never been to Paris, gogogo!

1960's

I've just started an ND in Fashion and Clothing at Matthew Boulton and my first project is a sixties little black dress.
I'm actually quite looking forward to this and I think its a good starter to the whole course, I've seen some projects of like, 'origami' and things like that, which really wouldn't interest me at all so I'm quite glad its this because I reckon I'll find this somewhat interesting.
We visited a Fashion museum in Bath which had a little sixties exhibition, and the thing that I think caught my eye was the John French photographs, I loved how simple and beautiful they were.
Sometimes I think I'd of liked to of done photography, but then I think every girl goes through that phase at some point.
