ninteen sixties

Just a few images I took today of my 1960's Little Black Dress sketchbook, not bad I'd say for my first project aha, but I'm hoping to make my Flotsam and Jetsam one much better and not as rushed as this one turned out to be!
I really wanted to take my pictures with natural light but by the time I got around to it it was evening and it's been quite dark all day due to the snow anyway so I've solely had to rely on my ridiculously bright flash! The snows still bad here but I really need to get out of the house soon so I may go in to Solihull tomorrow for something to do aha!

1960's

I've just started an ND in Fashion and Clothing at Matthew Boulton and my first project is a sixties little black dress.
I'm actually quite looking forward to this and I think its a good starter to the whole course, I've seen some projects of like, 'origami' and things like that, which really wouldn't interest me at all so I'm quite glad its this because I reckon I'll find this somewhat interesting.
We visited a Fashion museum in Bath which had a little sixties exhibition, and the thing that I think caught my eye was the John French photographs, I loved how simple and beautiful they were.
Sometimes I think I'd of liked to of done photography, but then I think every girl goes through that phase at some point.
