Storyteller

Tim Walker Storyteller
Having always been an avid fan of Tim Walkers work I was keen to visit his latest exhibition at Somerset House.
After seeing advertisements in Elle and all over the underground I knew that I couldn't miss this.
Supported by Mulberry the exhibit is a beautiful journey through some of Tim's most beautiful pieces of work.
Tim easily transports you to fairy tale worlds with every beautiful image, which seem like something you'd see in your dreams. With this in mind, you would expect his exhibition to portray a similar feeling, and it most certainly did.
Not only were the beautiful images hung on the walls perfectly (printed in excellent quality) but there were also gigantic props from his past shoots. The props were dreamlike and beautiful, but in another respect seemed sinister and creepy, with giant cello playing bumble bees and ginormous snails adorning the ceilings.
The exhibit was set out beautifully with some prints mounted on the walls and others mounted in crates adding the vintage feel of Walkers work.
From the beautiful elegant setting of Somerset House to the luxury sponsor, there were exceptionally high expectations for the exhibition and I think its fair to say that Walker delivered in beautiful style, as per.
If you aren't already in love with Walker's dreamlike photography, you will be after this.
And if you needed anymore reasons to visit (I can't see why you would ) Admission in to the exhibition is free!

Tim Walker Storyteller runs from the 18th of October to the 27th of January at the East Wing Galleries, Somerset House.
